New Sintra Hospital
In partnership with Tecnorem S.A., WiseBuilding has completed the implementation of an advanced Building Management System (BMS) at the New Sintra Hospital. This is a meticulously developed project, based on open protocols (KNX, Modbus, M-Bus and BACnet), which guarantees flexibility and reliability at all stages of operation in this hospital, which is one of the major healthcare projects in Portugal in recent times.
More than 20,000 checkpoints
The SGTC covers air conditioning, lighting, energy monitoring and control of hot water and chilled water production. In this context, more than 20,000 control points have been integrated, enabling precise management of each area of the building. This approach gives maintenance managers a global and comprehensive view, which speeds up the identification of any anomalies and simplifies the maintenance process.
Energy efficiency in more than 250 offices
One of the main highlights is the energy-saving algorithms implemented in more than 250 clinical and administrative offices. These solutions, combined with continuous monitoring of energy quality, optimise consumption and make it possible to effectively reduce operating costs compared to traditional systems.
Remote management via Wise2Cloud
Remote access via the Wise2Cloud platform eliminates the need for third-party software and ensures high security standards. The technical team and building administrators can manage and adjust critical parameters from anywhere, which translates into an agile response in more demanding scenarios.
Completion and Inauguration Phase
Although the official inauguration of the New Sintra Hospital is only expected to take place between March and April this year, the work is virtually complete and the SGTC is ready for operation. It is hoped that this structure will strengthen healthcare provision in the region, combining cutting-edge technology with sustainable and rigorous resource management.
